St Joseph's Catholic Primary School Reddish

About Our School

St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School Reddish is a voluntary aided school for children of five to eleven years of age. There is also a nursery class which offers part time and full time education to children who are between three and five years of age.

 

It opened on April 1st 2011, formed from the amalgamation of St. Joseph’s RC Infant and St. Joseph’s RC Junior School. The first part of the school was built in 1903 and has served the parish communities of St Joseph’s Reddish and Holy Family Denton for over 100 years. Our school has very close links with our parish,  Fr. Philip Caldwell is our parish Priest.   

 

Over the past year the school has undergone major refurbishment to provide pupils with modern facilities and equipment.

 

The school also has an Early Years play area, extensive playground and sports facilities.

 

It also benefits from a forest school and prayer garden. 

 

The school has 450 places i.e. 490 pupils in the main school and 60 places in the nursery.
