MULTIPLICATION TEST INFORMATION
Please find below a copy of the information from the DfE about the multiplication check.
In 4MG we have:
Miss Gleeson - Teacher
Miss Brown - Teaching Assistant
Mrs Aiello - Teaching Assistant
Children will be given spellings and times tables to learn every Monday. They will be tested on Friday and you will be informed of their results weekly. They will be sent home every Monday and you will find updated lists of the spellings on this page each week.
This website can be a fun way of learning spellings
In Year 4, we are learning our time tables from 2 to 12. Keep practising at home on TT rockstars! The details on your login can be found in your reading record.
W/C 12th July
This week we will be focusing on our 6 & 7 time tables.
Science - Electricity
In science this term, children will develop their understanding of electricity and circuits. They will explore which items use batteries to power them and which have mains (plug) to provide them with the electricity they need. Children will also learn about renewable and non renewable energy sources.
Geography - Cities, Counties and Map Skills

IMPORTANT DATES
Homework books will be sent out on a Thursday to be returned by the following Tuesday.
Please read with your child every night and sign their reading diary.
During this current time we will not be having indoor PE.
Games will be every Friday supported by Kris from City in the Community. Please do not leave Games kits in school- Bring in Games kit each Friday. Can you also send in a lightweight rain jacket as we will aim to get out in most weather.
The curriculum has been reviewed for 2020-21 and these will be used in our year groups going forward.
