PSHE - Child Speed Watch
Today we have a Child Speed Watch session.
Can you find out why speeding is dangerous.
Stopping Distances - The faster a car is travelling the longer it will take for it to stop and the further it will travel. The distance that a car travels before it stops is called the stopping distance.
The stopping distance is made up of two parts: Thinking distance and Braking distance.
What can affect the thinking distance? What can affect the braking distance?
Design a poster to discourage people from speeding.
Geography -Look at the two maps of Trafford then and now. What has changed? Has anything stayed the same?
Choose a character from the book you are reading. Write a diary entry from the point of view of the character you have chosen.
