This week we are asking you to think about what you enjoyed in Year 1 and starting to get ready for Year 2.

In Maths there are a range of activities to recap what we've been learning this year.

If you would like your new teacher to see your 'All about me' poster, email it to us and we will pass it on.

Remember to keep practising your reading, writing and number bonds over the summer break.

Thank you for being super stars this year!

Literacy

Below is the story called 'Dear Teacher' by Amy Husband all about a child starting a new year at school. Have a watch and enjoy! We hope you are more excited about being in Year 2 than Michael!

Prayers for at home

Why not start and end the day with a prayer as we do in school.

As well as making up their own prayers, there are some lovely ones on the TenTen website:

15 prayers to share

New prayers and reflections for each day of the week

Count in fives

Count in twos

Thank you so much to all the children and parents who made this wonderful song!

We absolutely love it!!
