St Joseph's Catholic Primary School Reddish

Welcome to 5LB

Throughout the week, please keep practising your spellings daily and keep your timestables strong by using TT rockstars daily at the website https://ttrockstars.com/

This class homepage will display key dates, information on what your child is learning and will be regularly updated with spellings, times tables and weekly photos.

Here's to a fantastic year ahead.

Key dates and information

Information on this page is specifically for children in 5LB. Start and end times for other classes may vary.

The school day

The school day starts at 8:45.

The door will open from 8:45 until 8:55. After this time children will be unable to enter the classroom, so please arrive promptly.

The school day will end at 3:15.

Home Learning

If your child is isolating, you can find daily school work in the 'home learning' section of this website.

ACE Assemblies

You will be informed if your child has won an ACE award by phone call. Unfortunately due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions we are unable to welcome families into school to celebrate ACE assemblies with us at this time.

Celebration Assemblies will take place on Fridays

Due to the children having assessments last week, the spellings and timestables were delayed until the week beginning 10th March 2021. Spellings and timestables will not be sent home on record cards going forward.

Spellings & Timestables

Spellings will be set and sent out on a Monday with children receiving a paper copy. If that paper copy for whatever reason is lost, a copy of the spellings will always be found in this section of the website. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask Miss Burkitt or Mrs Bowker.

This week is Children's Mental Health Week. The theme this year is "Express Yourself." Huge well done to Erin who used her creative skills to produce a wonderful video on lots of emotions and feelings that we might be feeling during this lockdown.
